 Những phần trên là cơ bản của một CV, đối với phần experience, nếu ko có các bạn ko cần thêm mục này. Có nhìu người mới ra trường đều lo là nếu như mình ko có kinh nghiệm thì rất khó có thể xin được việc, nhưng bên cạnh resume hay CV thì Cover letter cũng là điều rất quan trọng, cover letter ( hay application form) còn có thể coi là cách mà bạn tự quảng cáo cho mình để lọt vào tầm mắt của các nhà tuyển dụng giữa hàng nghìn bộ hồ sơ khác. Vì vậy mà cover letter cần phải rõ rằng, ngắn gọn và tập trung được vào điều mà nhà tuyển dụng cần.

Cover letter gồm 3 phần chính: Introduction ( nói về ý định mà bạn xin vào vị trí đó và bạn đã thấy thông tin tuyển dụng này từ đâu), Body ( nói về điều mà bạn quan tầm và đưa kinh nghiệm hay điểm mạnh của bạn phù hợp với công việc để thu hút sự quan tâm của nhà tuyển dụng), conclusion (nói là sẽ sẵn sàng cung cấp thông tin cho nhà tuyển dụng nếu họ cần và cám ơn, phần này có thể chủ động mong nhận hồi âm sớm...).
